まだ、占領すべき地がたくさん残っている。 ヨシュア１３章
There remaineth yet very much land to be possessed. Joshua 13:1
この事は、あっちから見ても、こっちから見ても、ほんとうに真理です。
聖書について、考えてみましょうか。
私達の聖書の多くのページが、私達に占領されないままです。 アンダーラインをひいていない聖句
がいっぱいでしょう。そして、神様が、そこを通して私達の魂に何を示してくださったか、余白に印を
つけてない所もいっぱいです。まるで、印刷所から刷り上ったばかりみたいに、きれいだったり。
時々は、あまり慣れ親しんでいない神様の言葉（聖書）の箇所にも挑戦して読んでみようと、決意す
る事も、とっても良いことです。聖書の中のどんな箇所も、神様の力に欠ける事はないと信じながらね。
多くの信者にとって、聖書(神様は、私達に所有させようとしましたが)は未踏の大陸です。
This is true in many directions:-
Of the Bible. - How many pages of our Bibles are unpossessed! We have not underlined any verses
in them, or put any marks in the margin to indicate that God has spoken through them to our souls.
They are as clean as when they came from the printers. It is well sometimes to consider this, and to
resolve to master some unfamiliar portions of God's Word, believing that no word of God is devoid of
power. To many believers the Bible, which God intended for their possession, is yet an unexplored
continent.
教えの真理について、考えてみましょうか。教えは、文書を分類わけして比較します。ある一定の事実
にそれぞれの掟があるように、教えも、それぞれの聖書箇所にあります。
私達は、聖書の教えを知るべきです。私達は、前もって、その聖書の箇所が何を意味しているか知る
べきです。聖霊の油注ぎや、キリストの再臨。
あなたの聖書のなんと多くの土地が、占領されないままなのでしょう。もし、その占領されていない土地
が、耕されたなら、ぶどうの実、とうもろこし、そして、もっとたくさんの魂をリフレッシュされ強くする作物
がもたらされる事でしょうか。
Of Doctrinal Truth. - Doctrine groups texts, and compares them. Doctrine is to isolated texts what
natural laws are to particular facts. We should know the doctrines of the Bible. We should understand
what is meant by Predestination; the unction of the Holy Ghost; and the Second Advent. How much
unoccupied land there is here, which, if brought under cultivation, would yield grapes, and corn, and
other produce for the refreshment and strength of the soul!
霊的体験について、考えて見ましょうよ。
聖書に深く聞いた聖者と交わってみてください。ああ、あなたは、自分が、このヨルダンの向こう（西側）の
良き土地のどんなに小さな部分しか横切った事がなく、その恵みがどんなに広い広大な範囲なのか、
ちょっとしか知らないのを見る事でしょう。
あなたの知ってるキリストの愛の長さ、幅、深さ、および高さは、ちょっとだけです。でも、ちょっとである必要
はないのです。
イエス様の王国には、分け隔てがありません。貧しい霊を満たされた部分から分け隔てたり、ある者を、
不毛と北面に閉じ込めたりする隔てはありません。
立ち上がりましょう。そして、神様の与えてくださる土地の長さも幅も、旅しましょう。みんな、あなたのもの
なのです。イエス・キリストにあって、神様が下さった恵みですよ。
さあ、求めなさい、さあ、占領しましょうよ。
Of Spiritual Experience. - Talk with some deeply-taught saint, and you will see how little you have
traversed of the good land beyond the Jordan, or know of its blessed extent. To know the length,
and breadth, and depth, and height, of the love of Christ seems given to but few; but it need not be.
There is no favoritism in the Kingdom which excludes some poor souls from the richer portions, and
shuts them up to barrenness and a northern aspect. Rise, go through the land in the length
and breadth of it; it is all yours; the gift of God in Jesus Christ; claim and possess it.

わたしたちって、恵みのほんの一部しか、トラバースしていないのですね。
